VASER Hi-Def

VASER Hi-Def (Assisted High Definition LipoSculpture) is an advanced body sculpting procedure indicated to remove fat from in front of and around the muscles of your body. This enhances the visibility of the underlying musculature and creates a more sculpted and athletic appearance. This procedure can be performed on different body parts including the arms, chest, abdomen (6 packs), waist, thighs, and back. It is best indicated in persons already having a good muscle development but in whom the overlying layer of fat conceals the shape of muscles.

The procedure is performed under local anesthesia with sedation. Your doctor injects the anesthesia to numb the area of surgery and shrink the blood vessels to reduce bruising. A thin VASER probe is then inserted into the treatment area. Ultrasonic waves specific to the fat are emitted from the probe, which helps to break down the fat cells. Your doctor will then sculpt around your muscles with the help of a suction process to remove these fat cells permanently.

The results of this treatment are highly defined and the areas remain sculpted as long as you maintain the pre-operative body weight and train your muscles well. The procedure is applicable to both men and women.

The high-def sculpting is NOT indicated in persons with poor muscle development and who are having excessive fat overall. Standard VASER is indicated in them. If they then manage to lose most of the excess weight and develop and tone their muscles by correct exercise and diet regime, they then become candidates for the Hi-def.
